Selling

If you wish to sell something on our auctions, you are welcome to visit us during our opening hours. You can also email pictures to us for an initial assessment or show the items in person if you are unsure whether they are suitable for sale.

Please ensure that your items are clean, intact, and functional. This will help you achieve the highest possible value for your items.

When you drop off items, an acceptance receipt will be provided, and it typically takes about 1-3 weeks before the item is listed at auction. The item will be available for bidding for 14 days, during which others can place bids and come to view the item.

After the auction ends, you will receive an email with information about the hammer price. If no complaints or withdrawal requests are made, the sale proceeds will be transferred to the specified account within 30 days after the auction has concluded. If an item is unsold, it must be collected within seven days after the auction ends. After this period, Ystads Auktioner reserves the right to donate items of little value to charity or charge a storage fee for uncollected items unless otherwise agreed in writing.

A seller's fee of 20% plus 30 SEK (including VAT) per item will be charged on the hammer price. This fee covers photography, storage handling, and administrative work related to the processing of consignments and payments.
